We’re open for bookings 7 days a week, with flexible timings to suit your plans. You can book by the morning (08:30–12:30), afternoon (13:00–17:00), evening (19:00–midnight), or go for a full-day hire (08:30–17:00). We also offer multi-day hire discounts, just ask us for a tailored package!
Yes, every booking gets exclusive use of the space – it’s all yours for the duration of your event
We host wedding receptions and celebrations, but not legal ceremonies. Most couples choose to say “I do” elsewhere, then celebrate here with all their guests in a relaxed, fully private setting

Yes, we’re fully accessible, including accessible toilets and step-free entry.
Yes, we’re located in the Bridge Street Car Park in the centre of Bideford, with plenty of parking just outside the venue. Paid Car Park during the day and free after 6pm
Catering is provided by Donna from Chef Duet Catering Co, our in-house chef known for delicious high quality, locally sourced food. We also offer themed menus and pop-up options
All food at The Old Foundry is prepared by our in-house Chef Duet team so we can maintain the quality and smooth service our guests expect.
For this reason, we’re unable to accommodate external catering or self-catering. Our team will be very happy to create a menu tailored to your event, dietary needs and budget.
All catering at The Old Foundry is provided by our in-house Chef Duet team, so outside food such as buffets or platters cannot be brought into the venue.
You are very welcome, however, to bring a celebration cake for your event.

Yes we require a 25% deposit to secure your date, with the balance due 2 weeks ahead of your event. All details are clearly outlined in your quote

Of course! We’re a flexible space and love seeing it styled in different ways. You're welcome to bring your own dĂ©cor we just ask for no confetti or open flames to keep the space safe and easy to clean.Â

Standard Venue hire runs until 12am, with the bar closing at 11.30pm. This helps us stay on good terms with our neighbours and gives you a full, lively evening.

We’re great for team events, creative workshops, and informal networking, but just so you know, the venue is one large open space, so it’s not set up for separate breakout rooms. That said, we’re happy to help you design the day to make the most of the layout!
