Hosted by Chef Duet & World Class Adventures
The Old Foundry Venue, Bideford
Thursday 29th January 2026 | 6:30pm – 10:30pm
£45 per person | Limited to 20 guests
Let us take you to Latin America for the evening – no passport required.
Join us for the next event in our Taste of Travel series – a relaxed and flavour-filled night at The Old Foundry Venue, where dinner meets discovery. This time, we’re heading across the Atlantic for a journey through Latin America’s most vibrant flavours and stories.
What to Expect:
A Taste of Latin America
Enjoy a five-course tasting menu created by Chef Duet, taking you from the coasts of Peru to the streets of Mexico. Expect bright, citrusy ceviche, fragrant Brazilian seafood stew, tender Cuban beef with plantain, and a reimagined Mexican taco to finish. Dessert brings a sweet Latin finale with churros, dark chocolate, and tres leches cake. Vegan alternatives are available throughout.
Stories from the Road
Bridget from World Class Adventures will share travel stories and insider insights from across Latin America – from the rhythm of Havana’s backstreets to the wild beauty of the Andes. You’ll hear how to experience these destinations in ways that go beyond the guidebooks, with tips on culture, cuisine, and adventure.
A Sociable, Relaxed Evening
Like all our Taste of Travel events, it’s an evening of warmth, connection, and seriously good food. Come with a friend or come solo – you’ll be seated at our shared long table and welcomed like an old friend.
Tickets are £45 and include:
- A five-course Latin American tasting menu
- A travel talk and storytelling session
Places are limited to just 20 guests to keep things intimate. If you missed our Japanese evening, don’t miss this one – booking early is highly recommended.
